I voted for alternative only. Just meditating, belly breathing & positive affirmations for the last couple of months. Unfortunately, since my vote, I did take klonopin for awful anxiety I had the other night. No matter how much I relied on calming methods, I was just beside myself with fear/anxiety over my dd.
I did feel sort of guilty about it. But, have put it behind me & realize that there was no sense in suffering more than I needed too. jan
Congratulations! I am interested in how you deal with the times when physically and mentally it is an accomplishment to get out of bed and put one foot in front of the other. I am struggling to focus my thoughts and it is definitely affecting my ability to be effective in my work. Do you, and others, find benefit from exercise? Yoga? What benefits specifically; and what types of exercise do you find most useful.
What types of things do you do to energize yourself and focus your mind when you're trying to pull out of a slump or set-back? I appreciate the feedback.

Dear Ann Theresa:
Thank you so much for your post. I have never even thought of acupuncture for anxiety. I desperately believe that my body can heal itself. I have tried so many things over the past 40 years, so thanks for being specific about Chinese acupuncture. I'm going to do some checking to find a practitioner.
