Hey everyone! I just had to tell everyone about my great news! My younger sister got married this past weekend and I was her Maid of Honor. A lot is expected with holding this position. And with my anxiety I wasn't sure if I would be able to take on all of the duties, but I prayed really hard. I was really nervous right before I was to walk down the aisle, but did fine. I stood @ the front of the church with all eyes directed at us, held the groom's ring, handed it off fine, and I was even able to give my speech just fine. I was afraid my anxiety would prevent me from telling my only sister, my best friend, just how much she means to me and just how much their union meant to me in front of everyone that loves us. I did great! I read a sister poem, said a few words and brought most to tears. I was soooo proud of myself. I was able to be there for my sister and her new hubbie!
The whole wedding was so great! My sister looked beautiful and we all danced the night away....
I wanted to thank everyone for being there to help me take control of my anxiety. All of your support and words of wisdom. Thank you soooooo sooooo much everyone!

I am so happy for you!

Thank you...thank you! I feel like I could not have done it without you guys! I now feel like my confidence has been boosted because I was able to do this. I hopefully will use this as a tool to beating my anxiety. (to not doubt myself and abilities)
Being able to talk to all of you online has really helped me and opened my eyes about my "situation." You guys are awesome... and thank you for being there for me! Much love and hugs!
