Med increase for me

hi everyone:)

its been a while since i posted an update, so i thought i'd share w/you my latest dr. apt.

i am currently taking 37.5mg of paxil and 2.5mg of zyprexa

so i went to the p doc, and we decided to stay on this med combo for now because i am still breast feeding and we don't want to change the meds as these two are "safe" to take while breastfeeding...

but...i am still feeling anxious the vast majority of the time...

so i asked about increasing my paxil, and she agreed, said she thought this was a good idea, so she upped it to 50 mg a day...

but...

i have yet to increase it...she said, "are you feeling drained or pooped from the paxi? cause sometimes it can do this" and i said its hard to tell with a little baby that still gets up every 2 hours throught the night if i am pooped or if its the lack of sleep...

but now i am scared of the side effects of an increase!

what a losing battle!

anyways.....

i am going to try the increase starting today.....

heck....i was the one who suggested it....

wish me luck!

Good luck with your med increase. I know when I had PPD and they asked me if I had side effects from the Prozac... well who could tell when you are getting hardly any sleep? LOL

Your children are so beautiful. I know these early days are so hard. Mine are 6, 6 and 9 now and it is still so miraculous to me. I had a hard time when they were babies but when they get older all that love and affection and hard work comes back to you tenfold. Take care.

Hello, I recently just got my Paxil increased from 30MGS to 40MGS and I haven't really been able to tell a difference. I hope you haven't been able to either. This is the only medicine I take for my Anixtey at the momenent. Your babys are very beautiful! I have a soon to be 19mth old Son. I know how anoxious and tired you must feel...

So Paxil can make you feel tired? I sure never knew this if I read it right. I have been feeling soo drained lately. I just asumed that it was from "Mommy/Wife Duty"

I hope you get to feeling better!

I'm glad you are getting an increase in meds. I can't wait for the day that you go anxiety free! Keep us posted on your progress. I'm considering an increase myself. I've been having more anxiety than I'm comfortable with. :(
