(((Jennifer))) Sorry to hear this. @ this time when your anxiety is high, we all need folks who are caring & supportive. I know we are no replacement for family, but we will be glad to do our best.
I am so happy you stopped into chat. I hope we helped in some way & you will come back often. There's always room for one more. Let us know about the cymbalta & how you're feeling. GL & GBU! jan
I truly believed it was a terrible life threatening illness about
to take me!!! Anxiety is awful- it can be dealt with!!
Has your doctor made any suggestions?
You have a beautiful family!! Do whatever you can to feel better!
YOU cannot do this alone however- you need to see a doctor and maybe
a therapist! They will help you cope with the anxiety and illness
phobia that you have!
I take Paxil and xanax and have a therapist who calls himself my manager!!
HE IS!! He maganges to help me see the good things- and feel safe, calm and
secure!!!!! GET OUT THERE AND FIND A GOOD DOCTOR!!
As for the lack of support PEOPLE WHO DO NOT FEEL THIS LEVEL OF ANXIETY ARE
CLUELESS AS TO HOW WE SUFFER!!!! GET HELP YOURSELF!! HUGS! Judy
*hugs*
It was nice talking to you yesterday, Jenny. You made me feel better about stumbling into the chat. (At first I just thought "Wow, this is stupid, you're going to go into a chat room and they are all going to think you're crazy.")
Although I don't focus on illness as part of my anxiety, I understand how it feels to be telling someone your feelings about *something* that is a dramatically big deal to you, and them just not understand that you don't know why it's important, but it is. I have this problem with DH sometimes, too. Your DH probably has only said that because he probably gets scared when you think that a disease is going to kill you... he loves you, and the thought of something happening to you probably fightens him....
I hope you feel better soon, you're not alone.
Take care of yourself,
Carrie
Hello, Carrie! Nice to *see* you;) It was a pleasure talking with you in chat. We appreciate you posting & sharing your thoughts with others. Don't be a stranger. GL & GBU! (((hugs))) jan
Hi there,
I can totally relate to your obsession over illnesses. I'm pregnant and every new symptom is alarming to me.
I know that it is hard, but try to take it one day at a time. I have a hard time telling my friends and family about my anxiety because I'm afraid of what they'll think.
Try and stay positive. I know it's hard when you don't feel support at home.
((hugs))

(((hugs))) I always say, that unless someone experiences anxiety first hand, then have NO idea what we are going through!

Hi Carrie & welcome to the board!
Sheri Ann
Hi there,
My husband lived in Buffalo for the first 7 months that we were married, but as of December 25th he's a Canadian resident and we live together. Since then, things have just been too crazy and busy for me to get him to make an updated signature.
Thank you for your warm welcome. Everyone here has been really great so far, and I look forward to making some friends that understand the difficulties of having anxiety.
Take care,
Carrie El
