Hi, all, just wanted to share a little success story of mine. I've barely left the house in weeks and have recently been trying to make myself go out a little bit. I had one trip to the grocery with dd that had me very anxious but I didn't go into full-blown panic, thanks to both BuSpar and Xanax taken together. The BuSpar has only been in my system 12 days so it's not really working effectively yet. But I felt so good about trying the grocery, that guess what: I went to WalMart the next day with dd and did even better!! Very little anxiety, no dizziness, but still that was with the double meds. I'm just happy to say that it makes me feel so much more positive about being able to manage the anxiety/panic stuff. One step at a time . . . . Hugs, AJ

th12e8b2a7.jpgThat is great news, AJ! Wallyworld is a trigger for me, so I know how much you accomplished. Wish I could've been with you, friend. Good luck & GBU! (((hugs))) jan

Good for you! You should feel really good about yourself. Those are big steps.

I hate WalMart! LOL I don't get panic attacks there but I just stopped going because I hate it. I can't stand really big stores - Home Depot, Costco, Sam's... all that stuff. It's like instant stress for me.

Went to the BMV yesterday, and it wasn't as easy as Wal Mart, believe it or not (go figure). I was anxious that I'd flunk the eye test, get dizzy, get my license taken away, you name it, but none of that happened and I got through okay, with dh there to lend moral support. I'm being very open with my friends about these panic attacks, and one of my safest support people is taking me out to lunch tomorrow. I know it takes time, but I'm determined to make myself work on going out and facing my fears. Driving is still a big deal, though. Thanks, everyone, for your positive thoughts and support! It makes a real difference to know you understand. Hugs, AJ
