Quitting a new med?

At what point do you decide a new med is not working out for you and that you should stop taking it? Three weeks ago, my p-doc added 30 mg. of Cymbalta to the 450 mg. of Wellbutrin-XL I already take daily. Ever since, I've been nauseous. Sometimes it's hardly noticeable. Sometimes it's horrible. At first I thought it would go away or get better or that the drug itself would finally start kicking in. I feel much better--but then again I'm in a new job I really like, and it was my old job that was causing me the most stress and unhappiness. So I can't really tell if it's the medicine or the change in surroundings.
I'm kind of in between doctors at this point because my new insurance won't be effective until next month and--naturally--my current doctor's practice doesn't accept my new insurance anyway and I can't afford out-of-pocket. I'd like to stop the Cymbalta and continue on with the Wellbutrin-XL. Before my old insurance expired, my p-doc wrote me 90-day prescriptions for the 150 and 300 doses of Wellbutrin. So I have enough pills to last me until June (and refills if needed). My plan is to stop the Cymbalta now, take 300 mg. of Wellbutrin-XL instead of 450 until the 300 mg. pills run out, and then take the 150 mg. pills until they run out. That way, it will be another 6 months at least of being on meds and it will be a gradual step down of the Wellbutrin-XL. I've been on W-XL for 2 years now, and I want off.
Thoughts?

Hi, Laura! I am so
Laura, my only thoughts are that you're not a doctor & you can't be playing with your meds like that!
