dizziness and allergies

Ok, I felt a little dizzy last night and when I woke up this morning I am really dizzy. I do have bad allergies to pollen, trees, basically anything green and alive and I have been spending about an hour outside each day. My doc has me on allegra and also singulair and advair (the last 2 are to help me get over the bronchitis that won't go away). It is starting to make me really anxious. Does anyone else get dizzy with allergies? I have no other symptoms. Heartbeat is fine, I'm not shaky, etc.

I looked up dizziness on a search and it of course says brain tumor, stroke, and a lot of really other scary things. Help! I feel like I'm starting to lose it!

Thanks so much. I am trying to keep busy and ignore it. It is nice to have reassurance though.

You are so right, Kelli! I have often thought that I was losing it until I read that someone else had the same or similiar fears to mine. Thank goodness I found this board:) jan

I have allergies too and sometimes I do get dizzy. Depending on what kind of dizziness you are having, it could be fluid in your inner ear, causing the 'room to spin'. If you are on any medication for depression or anxiety, coming off of it too quickly, or not taking it like you should could cause dizziness, as that is one of the symptoms of withdrawl.

If it doesn't go away within another week or so, check with your doctor. In the meantime, rest when you can, make sure you're eating and drinking water.

Take care!!
