Hi all! How is everyone doing? I do not handle class presentations very well at all. I have one tomorrow morning, and I'm beginning to get a bit anxious. When I'm up there I feel shaky and I get soooo nervous, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of anything I can do to get through tomorrow smoothly :) thanks!!

ITA with Kea. That old joke about imagining the audience sitting in their underwear does have some truth to it. I bet you have prepared well. That you have all systems *go.* When the scary feeling hits, remind yourself of all you have done for this moment. Breathe through your nose deeply & exhale through your mouth before the presentation & @ intervals, as you can. Avoid caffeine or nicotine & even alcohol tonight so you can get a good sound sleep.
Draw from past experiences & imagine those positive presentations you have completed. I predict smooth sailing:) I wish you the best of luck. Please let us know how it goes. We care & want you to do well! (((hugs))) jan
Thank you everyone for your helpful responses!! I will take all of that into account. I am pretty prepared and it's a group presentation, which makes it a little easier, especially since my best friend of 10 years will be up there with me too, lol...but it's still hard. We're pretty prepared though, we had our last meeting tonight, went through it and timed it and stuff, and I think we're ready. I just know tomorrow will be better after that class is over, lol....thanks for your help everyone!! I'll let you know how it goes!!
