Anxiety and Depression

I am so happy in so many ways to be home but..........there's always a but it seems. My DD's hubby whom she is in the process of a divorce with is harrassing us on the phone. Now I could take the phone off the hook, unplug it , or hook into the internet but we are also waiting for a phone call from an attorney for my DD in Indiana. He's raising my stress level which in turn causes anxiety and ultimately depression. I know I shouldn't let him get to me and it shouldn't even be my fight but these are my "babies" we are discussing here.

I am sorry to hear this, Kea. Phone interruptions are just as bad as company that doesn't know when to leave. I always feel as if my privacy is being invaded. I hope you're keeping track of the calls. This may be important in the future. I'll keep you in my thoughts. GL (((hugs))) jan

Jan we are keeping track of his calls. Yesterday he called us 13 times that we are aware of as we finally shut the phone down. His last call came at 1am, by this time he was drunk as a skunk. Mel's in Indiana and she's calling the prosucuting attorney to find out how we file harrassment charges on him and if she should call his attorney and ask her to have him quit calling us if any info needs exchanged it can be done by mail. Hope we're doing things right. Pray for us my daughter is on the whole doing so much better since they got her on meds and into therapy.

UPDATE Mel has filed a report with the Ft. Wayne Police Department and with the Prosecuting Attorneys office over the harrassment. He has already called here 10 times today and as you can see it's only after 4:30 plus Mona and I went up the hill for a couple hours just to get away from the phone. Hopefully by tomorrow this harrassment will be over with. According to him he will be here next Thursday to pick up the youngest boy. I don't think so this idiot doesn't even pay child support or has he offered to help us financially in any way. Can anyone think of anything else we should be doing? We are keeping track of the calls.

The anxiety and stress is starting to turn into anger and believe me this is not a good thing. I feel as if this idiot is starting to rule part of my life by limiting my use of the phone...He should be grateful he's in Indiana and I'm in Ky or I swear I would go off on him like no ones business. You can only push a person so far. My roommate has pressed charges against him but apparantly so far nothing has been done about it as he still keeps calling.
