Regarding donating books.....m

On the archived post, Carri and I had a conversation about donating books (especially HP books) to libraries. Just today I recieved an invitation to the Literary Guild to re-join, and lo and behold, I can get the first three for .32 and the 4th for .17 cents. Now, I realize I'll end up paying s&h and committed to buying other books, but I think I'll take them up on their offer and get the books. Now I have to decide whether to donate to the school library (shudder - I don't like the librarian, sorry!) or to our public library, which has an alarming tendency to have books "disappear" from the shelves. Oh well, maybe if I donate them to the school library, that demented lady's heart will thaw and she might even crack a smile. Ya think?
