I am here. Doing the every day things that come my way. I am hurting a bit. My jaw is hurting so much I can't chew. YIKES!! I have had to break out the soft food.Saw my psychiatrist today and he gave me Ambien for sleep. It only took 10 months of me not sleeping to get it. GRRRR!!!! I will be making an appointment with the dentist tomorrow to find out what this jaw pain is coming from. I could go on about what is bothering me but... it isn't important.
There is no sign of spring here. Still ice and snow. I almost fell today when I was picking the kids up from school. There is a huge sheet of ice on the way to the school, and no one is willing to salt it. I tried to get my building leader to give me salt so I could do it,but since it isn't for the immediate walkway and stairs to the building he won't. I am afraid one of these kids will slip and seriously hurt themselves before someone will do something about it.
I must head off to get into my jammies now. I have run around all day today and I am just whipped.
I am here! But having the week from hell at work. And I am SICK OF WINTER!! IT's official. I am sick of sweaters upon sweaters and coats, hats, scarves, boots!! Enough already.
Hi Molly! I'm still here! I've just been trying to recover from this darn viral infection and bronchitis. It really kicked my butt. I finally have my energy back though, now if this cough would just go away and never come back, lol! It's very strange though, RA wise I feel really good! I'm totally baffled because I haven't been able to take my Enbrel. I wonder if there's some immune system connection when you have a virus that it cancels out the RA. I know whenever I have the flu, the RA pain seems non-existant. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
Let's hope our rainy season is finally coming to an end! Saturday is opening day for my kids softball season, so it better not rain. Hope everyone's doing well!
I called the dental clinic and I can't get in to see a dentist until next month. I will be calling daily to see if they have any cancellations. The jaw still hurts, but I am
Here, here! Just getting ready to hit the hay after a busy couple of days. I plan to sleep until noon tomorrow. Picked up DD#1 on thursday...drove 80 miles; went to DD#2 wedding, her 2nd, on Friday in Huntington Beach...drove 100 miles; took DD#1 shopping and home today...drove another 80 miles. I am wasted! The wedding was lovely. It was outside at a park in HB and under a covered gazebo so we weren't too worried about the rain of which we've had WAY TOO MUCH. Fortunately the rain stopped around 4pm, the wedding was at 6pm with my little DGGD twinzies being flower girls. OMG they were sooooo cute. Lots of friends and family there and DGS #1 prepared and cooked all the food and the cake. Beef and Chicken shish-kabobs with veggies, then fruit and coconut shrimp shish-kebobs, burgers and hot dogs. Had a wonderful time.
Molly, my daffodils have already bloomed and are mostly gone. I have one lovely, huge white calla lily that just opened with many more to come. Yes indeed, spring is here a bit early considering the goofy weather we've had. Supposed to be very nice over the next week so I plan to go pick up some more annuals for the side yard and front cuz I really need some more bright spots out there.
Have a good day everyone, Cindy I hope your jaw feels better soon and the Ambien does it's magic; Barb, get over that bronchitis and viral infection or whatever it is that's dragging you down; Azell, hell will freeze over before I put a dram of vegemite in my mouth! Hugs to all. Diane
