Molly, that is odd because on my tests it says CRP should be zero...and the numbers are done like this, for example: 2, 3.4, 6.2, etc. WHen I was 3.6 my dr. made me come in.

I can only speak about Enbrel. I can warn you that it BURNS (it's the preservative in it apparently) and that the least painful spot is the stomach (less nerve endings there). I've had no adverse reactions except an increase in infections (strep, bronchitis, sinus). Let me know if you have more questions.

I figured it out...some labs use milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL) and some go by mg/L (SI units). Mine uses mg/dl...

Normal CRP is:
0–1.0 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL) or less than 10 mg/L (SI units)

((((Molly)))),

Thanks for all the info. It is the CRP that my rheumy is worried about. According to her lab, less than 5 is good. I really like my rheumy and she is very thorough. I really lucked out finding such a good one.

Since I am not in a rush to do this, I am waiting for her to call me about this. I am supposed to see her at the end of July, but have more labs in between. I assume she will call me at some point, when she wants to push the issue. She is good about calling when she feels she needs to see me.

Thanks again for all the support and the cheering section. I truly appreciate it. I will try to be around more. I will definitely keep you posted.

Hi Bethie,

Good to "see" you.
I can't vouch for either Humira, or Enbrel. I am sure some of the other ladies might help you there.
What test are you referring to?
Congrats on losing the weight!!!!
