Hi, Molly! Not much NEW, but I was up coughing again last night 3 times. SO tired and Not happy. On Monday I tried NOT using the albuterol and I paid for it by around 9 p.m. with a lot of coughing and congestion and wheezing. Silly me.
I was supposed to get my echocardiogram tomorrow, but it was changed to next Wed. I'm off that day. It's the 2-year anniversary of my mom's passing. Time flies...in a way though, it seems like yesterday.
Went to my sister's for a BBQ yesterday and almost became a news headline. I leaned against her deck railing and it gave way!!!!! I went backwards but Debbie (my sister) and my BIL's brother grabbed my arms. VERY scary. I would have smashed my head on rocks. I have a scratch from the wood and a bruise from where his hand grabbed me, but other than that I'm fine.
DO NOT LEAN ON ANY RAILINGS,please!

Hey hey there. Yes had a good fourth. All the children were here but my son who is back in Tn. We ate, swam, ate, played, ate, went to see fireworks display and came back and ate some more. lol One of my son in-laws said that we eat more than anyone or any family he has ever seen. He was mad about it!!!!! lol Isn't that silly? I would hate to waste my time and emotions on such a silly thing. lol We all {excluding him, I guess}, had a very good time. The dgc had alot of fun I know. They love to swim.
Two little kids from down the road, two houses down actually, were at one point standing in the neighbors yard watching the kids swim. I told Dink to see if they wanted to come swimming. They just moved into the neighborhood last week. But their parents had lived here by us a long while back, so we did know them and they us. Dink went down to their house to ask parents if they could come swimming. As he walked up to the door he heard the dad telling them that he didn't know if who lived here was the same ppl who were here before so he wouldn't let them come swimming but when Dink knocked and he saw it was the same ppl he said the kids could come down and swim. As the little boy was dashing out the door he turned back around to Dink, threw his arms around him and said, "Mr. you're the greatest!" lol He was so excited. lol
Well, as far as anything new happening with us, not really. Same ole same ole. I do have a new and sort of strange pain going on in my chest. Never had pain in this area before and let me tell ya it hurts to the heavens!!!!! Tried to lay on my stomach last night to sleep, trying to get comfortable and this pain was almost unbareable. Ouch ouch ouch! I will live!
All Dink has done since last night is watch CNN about the N Korea missles. He just said a minute ago that now Gaza has shot a missle at Isreal. Hummmmmmmmmm wonder what's next.

Well, I hope you all had a fun and safe holiday. Michelle, I am so glad you were caught before you fell. STAY AWAY from rails.....lol

Have a great week everyone and will be back soon, I hope.

Big gentle hugs
Take care of YOU.
Just me,
Roma :)

We ended up not going to my nephew's for the 4th and decided, instead, to go to the Simi Valley Fireworks Show at Rancho Santa Susana Park.

Hi Molly! Hope you had a great 4th! It was SO hot here in SM, you must have been cooking out in Simi. I can see you floating in your pool with an ice cold 'rita :)! One of our neighbors throws a big bash every year. It's always so much fun. We went to Santa Monica College on Saturday to see the fireworks. They always put on a great show, but this year was really spectacular. Maybe they had a bigger budget.

RA wise I'm still feeling pretty good, although a little bit of pain is creeping back into my fingers. I've been slacking off taking my Arava, so I suspect that's why.

I'm just looking forward to our trip to Hawaii at the end of the month. The girls are so excited. I finally found a swim suit, so that's half the battle!

Hope you're feeling well.
