Ok ladies!
It has been a while. Report for Roll Call.
You all know the drill. Name, age(if you want), how long you have had RA, or how long a loved one has had RA. What meds you are taking, and just for a added twist, I want to hear the worst pick up lines you have ever heard. heehee ;) Threw you off a little with that one didn't I? Let's make this fun all!

I'm 64, have had RA for 27 years, presently only on prednisone - long story. I'm from Minnesota when the scenery and the mosquitos are awesome - as in inspiring awe!

And, Honey, I haven't heard a pickup line in 40 years!

Hi, Cyn and everyone else! I was referred here by Scoot when I stopped in at her RA chat. I stopped by and read a few posts a couple of days ago. Tonight, I decided to stop in and when I saw the roll call missive, I decided to make myself known!

I'm Chris. I'll be 47 next month. I'm the mom of a 24 yo son (Carl)

Bethie here. I am 36 and I was officially diagnosed with RA in June of 2005. I think my first flare was in the summer of 2000, but I ignored it and it eventually went away. Left a finger swollen in the meantime, but it eventually came back and I finally went and did something about it. I am currently on MTX shots, folic acid and Aleve for any pain. I am drawing a blank on the pick up lines. Piffle.

Rosemary; 64; RA since 1997; MTX, Cyclosporin, Relafin, Restoril, folic acid.

Pick-up line: Picture a typical college hang-out bar, checkered tablecloths, candles stuck in chianti bottles. Two girls at one table, with no candle. My roommate, who fussed and fussed until I finally gave up and drove her to the Villa for pizza, asked the two guys at the table next to us if she could have their candle. One of them told her that she could light his candle anytime. She married him, and I married the other one, and we're all still married (to the same people) almost 44 years later. See, sometimes a bad pickup line works.
