Is what I am.
I am a perfectionist whose learning that perfection causes misery, and in order to be truly happy, something, exactly what, must be sacrificed.
If required, what would you give up?

I sacrifice nothing to be happy, because I am happy with where I am, I have choosen to be content here and I have also choosen to continue to grow because that will and does make me happy. I have decided to let go of things that make me unhappy, things that I cannot control, things that bother me, and instead look at the world in a mindset that allows me to become contented under may circumstances.

If I am being a perfectionist I am doing it because it is making me happy at that moment, because I want to. If I am working hard and pushing myself I do it because I'm going for a goal, and that is also something

I'm not sure I understand your question. If being a perfectionist is causing you unhappiness, then I would give up the need to be a perfectionist. It may take some work but maybe you could become perfect at being imperfect?
