So, how do you feel about whether Michael Jackson's death overshadowing Farrah Fawcetts?

It seems like the media is trying to make something out of it, though her family is not.

I think MJ suffered from very low self-esteem! Who ever thinks otherwise, must not have evaluated his life. He's a textbook case in every aspect.

I was also shocked when I read the news about the death of MJ. I'm also his fan. I don't care about the scandals about him. I just adore his talent. His style. He is so original and yes, I think he suffered from low self-esteem because of some major operations he did on his face. It's so obvious. I just feel sad about him and he will just be a memory now but his songs will remain.

To be perfectly, completely honest, I was not a fan of either Farrah Fawcett nor Michael Jackson, so their deaths have not affected me in anyway.

Even though Michael's death is overshadowing Farrah's, I don't think people are making it that way intentionally. Lots of people watched Michael Jackson go from being an adorable little boy to an icon, then, watched as his life unraveled. The poor guy couldn't sneeze without the paparazzi chasing after him.

As for Farrah, her documentary was pretty gritty and real. A lot of people are in denial about cancer, thinking it wouldn't dare enter their bodies. It was something people needed to watch, but actually wanting to is a different story. I think the only pickle Farrah's ever been into with the media was some talk of greediness years ago, I don't know the whole story.

I'm a fan of MJ because he is multi-talented and a great performer. For me, no one can beat him. He started working at an early age that created some manifestations in his behavior. His fame and fortune has not brought him happiness. He was even addicted to painkillers and I think that's one of the reasons of the cause of his death.

I guess we just have to be patient with the media...after all, they're doing their job...maybe overdoing??
