welcome, montanamom! i think it's great that you're ready to work on your self-esteem. you know, a few years ago, we had an extensive book list somewhere on this board but i think it's been deleted. i'll see if i can find it for you :) in the meantime, have you had a chance to browse your bookstore? i like to check out the self-help section and read whatever catches my eye.

I have an author instead of a single book I'd HIGHLY recommend for you. Her name is Byron Katie. She doesn't deal with "self-esteem" per se, but rather HOW to deal with our thoughts which in turn gets us tuned in to reality and TRUTH. Truth will set you free.
