I just wanted to congratulate you on the steps you took in calling for that appointment! That took a lot of courage! Good for you!!!!

When you go to the doctor, have you thought about writing down everything you need to say? I have done this in the past, and it has helped. Once, I froze, and I was able to just hand my list over to the doctor and she read it. If I hadn't had all the info written down, I don't think I would have been able to say it all. I'm much more comfortable talking about it now, but three years ago, I could barely speak.

Again, kudos for taking those steps!

thank you for the suggestion! I will do that. I know i have a tendency to freeze too. I'm also worried that i will chicken out and only tell him about the postpartum depression, and not the SA. I know that i should see someone about both problems... not just the former. If i write it down then i won't have to worry about that :)
