I appreciate everyone's comments. My computer would not let me reply so I'm posting this way. I am an enginner and certainly not a therapist. I love my wife dearly, but this scares the hell out of me. Maybe I'm not sure of the difference between splitting and disassociatio, so here are examples:


1) My wife is usually rather quiet and reserved
