Hi ladies, I posted this on the Pagan Paths board, too, so if you've seen it already, I'm really sorry! I am just having SUCH a hard time getting info on this! I am taking every avenue I can think of! :-) Okay, here's my post:

Hello all! I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out! I am familiiar with a company called The Witch's Element--their mailing address cites a P.O. Box in Throggs Neck, NY. They make natural incenses, essential oils, floor washes, etc.

I am interested in purchasing some of their products (I have a mail-order catalog) but they don't have a website, so I can't seem to find extra information about the products! They list the "blends" that they offer and give an idea of what they can be used for, but they don't say WHAT is in them, and they don't tell you HOW to use them! I would love to be able to contact them to ask some questions, but I can't seem to find any information like that!

Is there anyone from NY on the board that is familiar with this company? Or the owners of the company? The furthest I got in my online search was to find out that their names are Martha Napolitano and Nigma.

From this site: http://www.sheeley.org/econ/teachers2003.html, I got the following info:

The Witches Element consists of Martha Napolitano and Nigma. Martha is a 4th generation Pagan raised in European and Caribbean Traditions. She has been teaching for about 20 years and has focused on form of divination, mainly concentrating on the Tarot. Nigma chose her path about 15 years ago. She has been teaching privately for 5 years. Her strengths are in healing and magical herbalism. After apprenticing with an incense master for 4 years, she chose to study privately and is co-owner of The Witch's Element, Inc.  Nigma is also co-author of a book of occult recipes copyrighted and registered in the Library of Congress.

I wish I could find a way to contact one or both of them so I could ask some questions about their products and how to use them! I mean, I know it probably sounds simple, if it's incense, burn it-- but there's got to be something else involved for it to have the desired effect, no?

Thanks so much!

Best wishes always,

~Victoria

Hello V -

I happen to be slightly knowledgable about essential oils, aromatherapy AND natural (home made) cleaning products. They are super cheap, and super easy to make yourself!

What do you have in mind? I have been making home made cleaners for a while now (a great book on the subject that you can probably find at the library is "clean house, clean planet" and you add the 'magick' obviously when mixing and using.

Also one of my books has a 'house cleaning spell' that uses a home made cleanser with essential oils that cleans your house physically as well s cleanses the energy. You'll be in a GREAT mood when you're done!

Good luck!

Hi Jillian, thanks for responding! :-) I think I might pick your brain one of these days, lol...for some aromatherapy info and all. LOL...

I know a little about aromatherapy myself, and which scents are for which ailments...but the problem with these particular products is that they don't tell you what the compositions are actually made of. I mean, I know that they are "natural ingredients", but I don't know what the Psychic Powers blend is made with...only that it "can be used at a seance or while meditating. Helps you keep focus and strengthens your telepathic and clairvoyant abilities." I mean, what is in the blend that does this? And do I just need to burn the incense and poof! I'm going to be more

V if you get a good book (is it cunningham?) on oils and thier magickal uses you can blend your own for any purpose at any time.

You may remember my desperate attempts at cross referencing my notes and I've started but am no where near done. Basically I'll have a list of herbs detailing their mundane uses inone column and magickal uses in the next. For oils I'll have mundane, aromatherapy and magickal columns. I'll do it for stones as well.

The info for the 'healing uses' like vibrational medicine etc will fall under mundane and magickal will be magickal but in this way I can comprehensively approach healing - with vibrational and magickal medicine.

If you want I can email youwhat I have compile so far.....

Oh, Jillian, how thoughtful of you! Yes, that would be wonderful! What an undertaking this project of yours sounds like! But well worth it, I'm sure!

Thanks again!

I don't know when it will be though, I don't have internet at home and thats where I have it stored. Don't really want to upload it at work. Once I get settled from my move on the 1st of Feb I'll have internet at home and I'll send it.

If you need anything specific in the meantime let me know.

I can give you recipes for body care products too. I just made a skin salve for my babies this weekend!
