Afraid to live

Hi All,
I've read some things lately about being in control of one's own life.
When I was younger, I remember thanking God for something, and then having it taken away. From that point on, I never thanked God for anything, for fear that it would be taken from me. I also never appreciated anything too much for the same reason. But I'm trying to change. Today, just sitting here, I said, "I love my life" and smiled. At that moment, I got a twinge of anxiety in my stomach because I STILL have that fear that if I appreciate something it will be taken away. I'm tired of living in fear!
How do I change? How do I get rid of that inner voice that refuses to let me enjoy life?
Thanks all,
Tracy

You could read Echart Tolle's ( spell?) book, in the now.
You could do a ritual with friends: ie: find some stones
you like, put them next to a hot wok or something like that.
Put on some new agey music, candles, sit with firends,
pick your stones and hold them. Meditate
on what you want to get rid of, feel the energy going
to the stones in your hand. Go to the wok, one at a time .
Put the stone in water, then in the wok, it will sizzle, then sprinkle in
more water, it will steam, voila, up with the steam go the old fears.
Put up some affirmations. The past was but a moment in time, it does
not exist any more. Most of all keep thanking God and doing
what you are afraid of and you will build confidence. Love, Leila
things and people come and go. It
is normal to die and to lose, we always also gain.
The old saying, when the door shuts on us, the window opens
or another door.
We are learning lessons and to cope all the time,
do it in joy rather than fear when possible. When not
possible, know there is always a higher plan.
I used to think, when things got too good, it will crash.
I don't think that way any more, if I do, I will create the
crash with my thoughts. Fear is not coming from love.
It is either or. If there is fear, maybe the intuition is saying "no"
But that is another subject. Get out of your head,
GO PLAY. Love, Leila
