I'm not sure if this is the right place or board to post on, but thought maybe someone might have an idea or opinion.  I've been looking for somewhere to go with this, so thought I would try here.  I also have a son who is 4 1/2 and never did anything like this.

My daughter will be 2 and does something right before she falls asleep, whether if it's for a nap or for the night.  My family has their theories of what it is and honestly I'm not sure...I do think I agree...let me explain what she does:

As she's laying there usually drinking her milk, she'll stop and start looking up at the ceiling, pointing, grabbing, waving her arms around, she's totally quiet and I just realized today, usually holding her breath while doing this.  She's very animated and usually smiles and makes silly faces...a few times she made her scrunched up angry face.  She's totally silent, but moving her mouth like she's talking and giggling.  She'll do this for a bit, then go back to her milk and goes back and forth for a bit until she decides to go to sleep.

Anyone have any ideas or opinions on this....I'd really love to hear what you think!

Thanks!

Maybe she sees family and friends that she knew before she was born. I've heard of children that say they've seen and/or talked to family that had passed away before they were born. Often, these children had never heard of these people, so it shocks their parents. It'd be cool if she remembered her experiences when she got older.
But that's just me.

I'm not sure how to answer that, but I'm interested in finding out!
