What's the average temperature where you live, and what do you do to stay cool?

Average temp in West Michigan in June is in the high 70's to 80, but we have been tipping 90+ with high humidity this week.  I stay in the a/c most of the time, but do enjoy the early evening in my backyard because it's all shade.

The average temperature in my section of Florida is about 90 degrees. It's also EXTREMELY humid and we always get pretty severe thunderstorms in the afternoons like clockwork. We either live in the a/c and try to do our venturing out in the morning or evening (although the evening is full of mosquitoes!) or we go to the beach or my mom's pool!

June is typically a cool month here on California's central coast. I'm just far enough inland that the fog usually burns off, but 30 miles up the valley where I do all my shopping it's not uncommon for them to go days or even weeks without seeing the sun. I'd guess our average temp is in the high 60's. The past few days have been low 70's with humidity (we don't usually have to deal with humidity) because of a storm. It finally reached us and rained last night but it's still pretty sticky-feeling today. Hopefully by tomorrow we'll be back to normal. (Summer storms are also unusual here in California. We rarely get rain outside of our November-April wet season.)

In Greensboro, the average temp is 85, very humid, with thunderstorms at least twice a day, Bink.

June in north west England is usually dry and pleasantish. At the moment we're having reasonably good weather for us, probably low 70s. Often that is as good as it gets here but when we hit the 80s in the UK we think we're having a heat wave. When we do get hot weather it is often humid rather than pleasant, but at the moment we have blue sky and little cloud so it is just right as far as I'm concerned :)
