I am looking for an Interfaith community in the north Dallas area and was wondering if anyone knew of any churches or places of worship in this area... or if anyone knew how I could go about locating one. Thanks a lot!! :)

Is Interfaith a religion on its own?
I did find a couple of interfaith web portals...
http://www.dallasareainterfaith.com/
http://www.dallasspirit.com/

but I confess I'm not sure what an Interfaith community is - love to learn, though, if you feel like sharing!

Good luck!

Haha... I'm pretty close to you then... well the best understanding I have of Interfaith churches are that they revolve around God... not Jesus, not Mohammad, not the Bible, not the Torah etc etc... it brings all different faiths together so that people can worship God together and also so people can be reminded of there values and beliefs (one sermon I read had to do with patience and the Pastor gave examples from all different religions ... and talked about it very sensibly? - can't think of a good word for it but it was a very nice sermon)... anywhoo I know it sounds odd to have a bunch of religions all together but from what I've heard - it seems pretty nice. Well I've found some great places... up north! I guess it's not as prevalent down here in Dallas? Thanks for the sites! I appreciate it! :)

sounds a bit like Bahai, or UU...maybe you can stretch a little and see if one of those two will do it for you?
