Two earrings in each ear, the first set done at age 12 and the 2nd at 17.
One tattoo on my right ankle, which I designed myself but has no spiritual significance. It's a heart-shaped floral wreath.
I do want at least one more tattoo. (I was warned when I got the first one that they're addictive! LOL) I'm not sure at this point just what I want though. For a long time I wanted something Celtic. I've always been very drawn to Celtic knotwork because of its representation of the interconnectivity of all things. But the only design I've ever found that I really, really liked was on my friend's arm and copying it would just be creepy. I've also found while looking for designs that I'm much more drawn now to the flower-and-butterfly designs. I've also always been drawn to butterflies and since reading The DaVinci Code I've found a soft spot for old-fashioned 5 petal roses. Whatever I decide on will most likely go on my lower back.
I have a tattoo on my lower back of the Virgo symbol and a son going around it. I got it because it expresses my whole family. We all happen to be Virgos. It is something I will never forgot. I also had an eyebrow piercing for a year, but decided to take it out

No one warned me they were addictive, but I would agree with that. I've been wanting another one ever since I got mine done 5 years ago but really don't know what other one I'd have done or where (lol)
DH also has one tattoo. On the top of his arm is a tattoo of Tutankhamun (sp?). Because of our surname he was known for a long time by his workmates at toot in reference to the Egyptian pharoe. He loved that job and the people he worked with and after he was made redundant we were on holiday in Portugal when we were looking at the designs in a tattoo parlour one day and he just decided to get it done. It is very intricate and took 3 hours to do compared to 20 minutes to do mine but was worth it.

Ya know Ira, I've kept my mouth shut for a long time regarding your posts. We are not all Christian here and therefore not bound by the rules of YOUR religion. I can only speak for myself, but quite frankly I don't appreciate your preachy tones and constant proselytizing of your beliefs.
I would never dream of telling anyone on this board or elsewhere that they shouldn't do something to decorate their own body in any way they wish and I would expect the same courtesy from others!!
I don't believe that God gave us freedom of choice if it wasn't meant to be used.

Just plain old pierced ears here, and only one pierce per ear.
I have earrings one in each ear and a small tattoo on my right shoulder of a tulip. I picked it because I just love yellow tulips, no other reason.

I have 2 piercings in each ear, the first set when I was 16 (and I fainted in front of a line of people) ~ scared them all, lol!
