spiritual connections to girl friends

I read an article that women think men can disappear
but girlfriends are here forever and how betrayed we feel
when there are changes. It hit me that I feel like that.
I always feel a connection with women is spiritual, deep,
we talk about our feelings and about nothing endlessly
and love it. I have just accepted a relationship with a female
that I thought would never change. She met a man and
moved in with him, further away. I don't know why she doesn't
need to do girl talk and stay in touch as much, but that is life.
I found that article, it almost seems like a spiritual betrayal.
yet it is spiritual to move beyond and love the person for
their choices even if one feels left out. I started to think about
this re: women in my past. Isn't life about constant changes anyways?
There is almost nothing as special as the friend you can do
ouija boards with and special martini lunches etc. I guess life
is like course of miracles that says, there is no specialness,
We are all equal and the same. leila

I hope I have no trouble driving home late. I am far and not used to it.
Couldn't resist the money. Love, Leila

yes, that would make things very sticky because the men
would need to go directly to their mates. I had a friend
that thought she could talk to my X manfriend about
something about us ( me and the guy)
That didn't turn out too good and It wrecked the
relationship with my friend for a while. Leila

Shyla, Don't give up on the beauty of women.
As we grow we attract more people on our level.
Maybe you would have outgrown them anyways.
Anyone sabotaging things for you with men etc
are not living the spiritual life of love. Be open to the love and
friendships of women of higher consciousness.

This can be frustrating. Some women's self-worth is all tied up in having a man, any man, in their life. They will cancel get togethers with long time women friends at the last minute if some guy calls. I don't like that. Those women don't know how to be a friend and friendships aren't a priority with them. On the other hand, though, if a woman friend is in a deep relationship/marriage, is raising kids, etc., I cut her some slack, LOL! She's got a lot going on! I need my women friends and they need me. We're a support system for each other. It's harder to have male friends, I think, because they can't always get past the sex thing. Women can empathize, know what it's like to be female, and can empower each other in ways men just don't have any clue about. Besides, I think we have a deeper Connection to the Universe with intuition and wisdom.
