QOTW - Do you believe in signs?

A dove lands in front of you.  A dream disturbs you.  A passing shadow gives you chills.  Your horoscope is eerily accurate.  The Tarot reading you just did was right-on-the-money.

These are all signs of one sort or another.  Do you seek them out?  Do you pay attention?  Do you change your actions because of them?

Looking forward to lots of responses!

I absolutely believe. I've seen too many to NOT believe.

Yep, I absolutely do believe in signs. I chose to ignore them for many years. But they will always be there whether we choose to see them or not. Life always provides an abundance of loving guidance around us. It makes for a smoother and richer journey to learn from these signs.

I do believe in signs, but have to admit that I am usually too preoccupied to notice them.

I'm sure there may be some things that are considered to have 'universal' meanings, but honestly I believe the most meaningful signs are personal ones. For example, a friend's favorite song coming on the radio at the same time that friend is thinking of you or trying to call you. That wouldn't have any meaning to anyone else but the two of you, and yet it's still a meaningful sign. Or the call of a particular bird during prayer that has deep meaning to the person hearing it. Those are the sorts of signs I experience and because they're so personal, they grab my attention and the message is always clear.

Yes...I do believe that serendipity and coincidence happen for unseen reasons...I also believe that the more in tune you are with yourself and the universe, the more often you will notice the "links" between things that make no apparent sense fall into patterns that do...how many of us have ever thought of a friend only to have them call you later that day or sooner?

Oh yes, I believe in signs and I am recognizing them so much more now that I am aware of them.

Like ginger.cookie I'm not sure about universal signs though I do think that there are individual signs telling us things if we take notice of them. Years ago I was looking for a car. DH found one and told me about it, i went to see it and during the test drive which I took alone it ran out of petrol and i had to walk all the way back. Went for a second test drive in it, this time with DH, having been assured there was enough petrol in it this time. Same thing happened though just down the road from the garage. Went ahead and bought the car and within just a couple of weeks it was broken into, another week later stolen, never to my knowledge to be seen again. Insurance didn't pay out for nearly 3 months in case it turned up in the meantime so I was without a car all that time. A friend said that she would have seen the running out of petrol as a sign not to buy it and at the time I thought she was mad but now too many things have happened for me not to take notice of such 'signs'.

For sure. I seek out signs thru tarot, angel cards,
prayer. I have had a few dreams that were prophetic,
I get answers in license plates. I listen to my intuition,
hopefully most of the time. We are connected to the other side,
our angels and spirit guides help us in any way we are able to listen to them.

Carol, I had a similar experience with a car. When I was 15 and just learning to drive, my parents decided to buy another car. On the test drive we had problems, they bought the car anyway (which I thought was a bad idea), and sure enough we continued to have problems with it for years. Every time something went wrong with it I pointed out that we were warned on the test drive. hehehe What I brat I was!
