Has anyone here heard of Creation Spirituality? I've researched it online, but I guess I want to know others impressions of it. It's somewhat of a combination of paganism, theism, Christianity, Eastern Thought.....confused as I am yet?

After reading Noshy1's post, I started re-thinking about Creation Spirituality. It was founded by an Episcopalean priest, and it seems to be life-affirming with a panentheistic view of God. It values creativity and nature as expressions and connections to the Divine.

I am somewhat of agnostic, but still an avid seeker.

Hmmm... sounds interesting. (And right up my alley!) Any links you wanna share?

In the meantime, welcome to the board! :-)

I haven't heard of Creation Spirituality as a spirit path, but I'm not surprised to see it would have come from an Episcopalian priest!

Sounds interesting, and along the lines of what I was posting about.

There IS a lot of debate on that Shyla. Christianity inherently dictates that it's the only right answer, while Paganism means there are many possibilities. There are many out there though that take from both and straddle the fence, believing for example that there's only one God, but incorporating magick into their lives. Following the teachings of Jesus, but without necessarily believing he was God incarnate. To me, it boils down to what each of the labels means to you to begin with and whether they still fit. Personally, I have an aversion to labels and avoid the whole thing. ;-)

Welcome, Zing!

I haven't heard of it either, but it does sound wonderful.

Why burden your mind , keep a precious desireous heart available to dispell errors and thus cleanse the mind . I don"t dwell on it having been taught by a great teacher that in all religions you will find some divine truths. Notice some truths. Having studied Zoaraster, worship of the Bull, Sailing to bazanthium and esscenes and many others, but also find that mixtures of truths and errors having Holy Spirit guidance important. with the problem i encounter is remembering ideas and not exactly remembering the source. However allowing the Christ Spirit available in a sense going up Jacobs ladder and bringing down more truth to advance in spiritual growth and have not only adoration but felowship with the Creator.
