I know this universe has balance. There isn't good without its counterpart, evil. When I consider the bad things, I think of the bad and not necessarily who's responsible .. the devil, "Evil Incarnate", Beelzebub (Not sure of that spelling).
In the context of your life and beliefs, how do you consider this being??

I don't believe in a "being" that perpetrates evil.
it is how we judge and perceive. I believe that maybe groups of souls come here
for a purpose, may seem like evil to us, like a war or something, it is to teach something
we may not understand but in time, there is a result from this. Something
the planet learns. I don't know if I am making sense but i do not believe in evil.
I might say people are sick, very sick, not evil. Love, leila
Makes perfect sense to me!

AS ABOVE, SO BELOW!
I'm still floundering with this one - I'm quite sure there's no "individual evil dude" out there, lol, and I see the point about balance...funny, in all other aspects of life I'm really big on balance, but when it comes to good & evil... I just can't believe there's such a thing as evil.
I heard (is this true? Don't know) that "sin" originally meant "missing the mark" as in archery... I can go for that - that the things people do that are "wrong" or hurtful are actually just missing the mark, and that everyone, with concentration & help, can improve their aim.
I think evil's like that - very horrible, but just misguided.... I dont think people mean to be evil, I think in the reality they're living in, they think they're doing the right thing. We and they can learn from these evil acts & move forward....
did that make sense to anyone but me? LOL

Yep, I've read that too. That that's the literal translation.
I don't really think there is some "being" either.

Like most of the others I don't believe there is an evil being such as the devil. I used to when I was a child and really until quite recently but then I read the Conversations with God books about 18 months ago and they made such sense to me and I realised that deep down I had believed all along that there couldn't really be a being powerful enough to rival God nor could there really be a struggle going on between God and this being for our souls.
I believe that illness exists, which in my opinion can influence a person's thoughts so that they believe it is right to commit acts others may consider evil, but I don't believe that individuals are evil.

Leila, you make very much sense to me.
