Ginger cookie mentioned below that in one aspect at least she is unlike her star sign and it got me thinking about how many of us are really like the star signs we supposedly represent.

What star sign are you?

Would you say you are typical of that star sign, have some traits or are nothing like it?

My star sign is Sagittarius - half-horse and half-man aiming an arrow.

In some ways I am a typical Sagittarian shooting arrows in all directions rather than knowing exactly what I want and just going for it. I am quite sociable and mainly like being around others. I'm also a good listener and have some other Sagittarian traits. I am not at all sporty though, which is supposedly a typical Sagittarian thing, nor am I espcially firey tempered which I think is also a trait as Sagittarius is a fire sign.

I think I'm a pretty atypical Sag. I do tend to talk before I think *blush* but I'm NOT the life-of-the-party, always on the go type. And as you said Carol, I'm not the sportsman type either. Pretty sure my rising is Taurus and I've always felt like I identified much more with that sign.

I'm an aquarius, and I think I'm very much like my sign. I am hard to get to know, and I'm not a social butterfly, at least in person.

Oh yes, the fiery temper of a Sagittarian.

That is true, you do speak your mind, and a person always knows where they stand with you.

I always thought of Aquarius as being very people oriented.

I just realized that growing up, we wouldn't look our horoscopes because for reasons lost in time we thought/were told that it was anti-christian in some way.

Yeah I did. I was told it was anti-christian to try to predict the future in any way so tarot, mediumship etc was strictly out of bounds. It was a little difficult to get past that at first and I don't really look at my horroscope now on a regular basis, only from time to time but that's more because I find it a little difficult to believe that a 12th of population can expect the same kind of outcome at the same time. I've had a personalised birth chart done and that was much more accurate and pin pointed a lot of my personality traits, tendencies etc and helped to explain why some Sag traits aren't me at all whilst others are. I forget a lot of it now but its all to do with rising signs and time of day etc.
