More bombs in London!!

It is sickening to think that it is happening over here again so quickly. Part of me is not surprised at this and part of me is shocked that this is happening when we are still clearing up from the last bombs only two weeks ago.

What is really scary is the thought that this could be just the start of things. Although I live nowhere near London, Liverpool is one of the few other cities that has not only an underground but also a tunnel for cars, to allow access from where I live on one side of the river Mersey to Liverpool on the other. Either could be a potential target as once inside they go under the river which spans a couple of miles and where people could easily be trapped. Even though I lived through the IRA bombings in the 70s and 80s I've never felt bothered by this before but my son travels on the underground every day to get to his job in Liverpool and it terrifies me now that he does this. I know that if things are meant to happen they will but somehow when you feel your children might be in danger it is harder to accept this.

I pray for all those people affected by these incidents today and two weeks ago. Sorry if I've rambled on a bit but this second attack in some ways is more scary than the first. We've felt for a while it was just a matter of time but I think most people felt things would settle down now.

Feel free to ramble Sweetie; under the circumstances I would be too! (Heck, I do anyway! LOL) This IS very scary, not just for those in the UK, but for us over here too. I can't help thinking it's just a matter of time before stuff starts happening here again too.

No kidding. I'm surprised more stuff hasn't happened here as well. I'm just waiting for it to start. Hopefully they'll catch the people responsible in the UK. My prayers are with you all in the UK.

Yes, I heard about this. I read on the BBC news web site that some police were speculating that some of these bombs, which didn't go off, thankfully, might have been part of the same batch as two weeks ago. ARRGGHHH! I'm afraid that the British as well as the rest of us, will have to stay strong in the face of these terrorists. Not give in to them or their demands. Doing so only empowers them to do more harm.
