Another kitty story.....

Hi, I read the kitty experience and just cried. I have a personal story also, although my kitty is still with me. When he was about a year old, his name is Louie, we lost him. He had left our house and was gone for over two days. I can't tell you how much I felt lost without him, he is like a child to me. We combed the neighborhood, visited the humane society. He had just lost his tag a few days before so I felt hopeless that I hadn't got to get a new one for him. Finally, one evening I decided to relieve my stress of losing him and went for a bike ride.
I was going to visit a friend but opted to go by her house and on down the road. Mind you, I had done some serious praying for Louie to return. As I was going down this road, which was easily 4 miles from our house, I spied a cat running for the bushes. I didn't think about it until I got closer to the cat and realized it was Louie. I literally dropped my bike and ran to him. I said his name and he meowed so loud to see me. I know my angels heard me that day and helped Louie be in the right place at the right time.
May you know your angels are always with you

I'm so glad that the angels were listening, and helped you find your kitty. What a touching story! There is just nothing like the love of a kitty or a dog to help you in times of need and stress. Their love is completely unconditional (although if you throw in a couple of crunchy treats or a can of tuna, it's amazing how much more affectionate mine get!) anyway, glad you found your kitty and that he's home now!
*hugs*

Yep, our angels are always with us. I don't have a kitten story,
I have kittens almost 4 months old. I can't believe the love I have for them
or what they have done for my life. i can understand what
people mean when they say a home is not a home without pets.
I did have a dog I adored when I was married, a perfect golden that i trained.
I had a husband then etc. Now tht he died, and I have adjusted to my last
man friend gone, I have a special relationship with my kittens. They
are my new family, my kids are grown, they give me a reason to be here for them.
I always like to come home, they are something here that needs me. I just
adore these girls. I know they love me as much, it took
a while till they knew me and trusted me, now I know it is a great love affair.
They are spiritual beings also and read us. Life is wonderful. Love, Leila
CARA, lol, I forgot to mention that fun part of the story. I had to hold him with one hand, cross a highway, cross many intersections. It was quite interesting. My friend that I was supposed to visit saw me, and thought, aww, how cute, that lady is riding with her kitty! I had a major tight grip on him for sure. He's such a sweet cat, he gives love bites or "kisses" and he did this on my cheek the whole ride home!
Love and blessings to all,
Stephanie

He is a solid grey with white paws and tummy. Short hair and three years old this month.
My friend and I rescued him from his mama. She had eaten all her kitties because a young toddler had played with them all while they were young. It was so sad. But Louie survived luckily. Certain animals, I believe, are meant to be in our lives for a huge purpose and I think Louie is one of those for me and my husband.
