My husband and I are going through a really hard time right now. We could use as many prayers and positive thoughts as we can get right now. My husband has had to go away for a while and I keep finding myself asking the question why does this have to happen. All my life I have searched for someone to love and cherish me the way he does and it seems like everyone around us has made it their mission in life to make us miserable and upset. I know you shouldn't question why things happen and what purpose could it serve but this is just to much to bare right now. I would love to know why this had to happen. Sorry for rambling on and on but I ask that if anyone can spare a few minutes to pray for us it will be deeply appreciated.

Broken, I believe that some of the time we are victims of other people's bad choices, but most of the time, we are deeply involved in the things the "happen to us."

We have talked with lawyers and that is what we are trying to do. We have realized that we need to go to church and leave this in the Lord's hands, we have said time and time again that we needed to go to church. Your right in saying that we allow others to try and take control of our lives and we have to stand together and be strong to fight them off. It's so hard though, all we've done is love each other yet his ex-wife and her children have made it a point to try and drive a wedge between us and kill our marriage. It won't work, though. I love him far to much to let some heathen do that to us. Thanks so much for all of the replies and I apologize if I didn't make myself clear on things to begin with.

My husband, who died 13 years ago, had an X wife and 4 kids.
The X was a problem but so was my immaturity and what i expected.
I was more needy than I am now, for sure. Everything bothered me.
I can't change any of it now, there are no accidents, guess all my
experiences and heart ache helped me to learn about myself, love and
forgiveness, so I wouldn't change any of it. If I did it all perfectly, maybe I
wouldn't have needed to be on the planet to learn more lessons. If you
know what i mean. Keep loving him and keep love in your heart for
the problem people, they are hurting in some way to have to drive that wedge.
Pray that their pain leaves. Concentrate on you, not them. Love, leila

Dear Broken Hearted,
I am new here, but I am so very sorry about you and your husband. Sometimes we all go through these tough times and come out so much strongher for it. I will add you and yours to my pray list and send them your way. Let me know how things are going. Keep your Faith steadfast and strong.
Peace & Blessings,
Rhonda
