So, there I was driving home from a home visit for the rescue agency I volunteer for, and traffic came to a standstill about 5 miles north of my exit. Construction! Here in Michigan we have two seasons: 1) winter and 2) road repair!
There's nowhere to go except stay in line and relax. I had one of my greyhounds with me, so we had a nice talk. People started getting annoyed or ticked off about crawling along at 5 mph, even though we were all in the same boat! I drive a manual transmission, so I don't always close up that gap between me and the guy in front immediately. It's hard enough on the clutch as it is and even harder to crawl at 5mph. But people get angry because they could be 15 or 20 feet further along the highway, if I would just close it up every time the guy in front moves forward.
Then there was a road monitor who thought it was his job to block the shoulder so no one could sneak through and merge ahead of him. Didn't matter if they were exiting just up ahead...
Full moon?? Oh yeah! What do you observe during this 72 hour period of dysfunction?

She was beautiful last night, wasn't she?
Oh, she was gorgeous last night! H and I were on the highest Ferris Wheel at the Big E in Massachusetts last night and while they were unloading passengers, we were stuck at the very top. What a view! She was HUGE and there were little wisps of clouds drifting through. Takes my breath away every time.
I seem to be more affected by New moons than Full moons~ I don't know why.
