QOTW-Healing light/biofeedback?

We say it quite often on here... sending healing light/light of protection... The ability of the body to heal itself with biofeedback and positive energy focused on areas in need of healing is not a scientifically documented event. Yet, doctors know its power, though no one can adequately explain it.
What is this phenomenon we call healing light? How have you experienced it? Are some people "better at it" than others?
I hope you give some thought to this and share your wisdom.

I call it "energy" rather than "light," but the intent seems to be the same. I have rituals, casting a sacred Circle, burning certain color candles for healing, burning certain kinds of incense. There are more intense healing tools such as "programming" stones or packets of herbs that can be worn or carried in a pocket, specifically designed to promote healing. In my faith (Wicca), there are many choices. I consider "sending healing energies" as more sending a catalyst to assist the natural healing powers of the body to which I am sending the energies. It requires the connection to the power of my Goddess, the Universe and Nature, myself, and the power of the person needing healing.

I try to meditate deeply enough to feel the energy moving, but more often than not, I am distracted.
i believe sending healing light, or energy or positive thoughts can be done in a moment of concentrated thought. it's an act of caring. In a way it's an act of prayer, although this is not something i do. i visualize the recipient engulfed in healing energy with a positive end result. it is like the thought process of creating your own reality, along with the belief that we are all healers and are all have infinite untapped capabilites. believing you are making a difference makes a difference. how does it work? does it work? i leave those questions unasked. who knows the answers, but making the effort means something, somehow for someone.
My black lab recently had cancer and the prognosis was fatal. positive energy and healing light was sent his way by three people i know for sure. his cancer though malignant was a cancer most often healed by removal rather than the fatal type they had expected. i believe this outcome was a direct result of that directed energy. even the vets were suprised at the outcome. very rare. so do i believe it makes a difference - yes. even without a result seen i believe in it's strength.
