There was talk voluntary water restrictions here in central NC. We're on the 6th consecutive day of rain, highs in the low 70s. Ha! My niece broke my umbrella, so I use a book to cover my head!
Hugs on getting your web feet lately! I love that cute graphic! :D
We've been having sunshine out here in CA. I love the fog coming in to cool things down and burning off in the mornings. The days have been too hot for my liking, very high 70s or low 80s. :-\ I am not a hot weather person, though. I am actually looking forward to our winter, if we get one, which means rain in my area. I like the contemplative energies of rain and winter. I'm ready for that season after busy spring and summer energies...
We're on day 5 of rain and it looks like we're going into Saturday before it stops. That's okay, I guess Earth needs a drink! At least it gives me an excuse to do some indoor projects and delay cleaning out the gardens.
Never ending rain. I can't believe that there was so much flooding in Keene, that NH was affected. The planetary changes has me a bit concerned. Are all these old predictions of flooding coming true? Is it global warming, nostradamus or normal? love, leila
I know, it is a little disconcerting....earthquakes, wicked hurricanes, massive flooding, towns & cities destroyed by natural disasters! Why? Global warming? I don't know.
I used to have a room mate who was always spouting off about Nastrodamos (sp?) and I remember rolling my eyes at her....but who knows?
On a recent news report, the global warming theory was strongly negated by the specialist speaker.
In my opinion, this planet has gone through many climactic changes in the past. I think we are living through another one, but complicated by the damage humans have done to the planet on top of it all. :-\
We're having a gorgeous cool weekend, following a gorgeous warm week! I'm at the library right now, as I still do not have a home computer. My son is going to have to reformat the hard drive... boo hooo! I worked really hard to get all those favorites on there! I wander around the house looking longingly at the empty space where my PC used to be. It's really pitiful.
