As we start into the winter months, what changes do you go through?
What benefits or problems do you anticipate within this more introspective time of the year?
How do you pamper yourself, {or would you like to be ;-D} for the 'female' half of the year? Winter to Spring is often considered 'feminine' in quality, as many forms of gestation take place!
What would you like to accomplish?
Do you keep journals or diaries of wishes and dreams... perhaps to help manifest your creations in the Spring?

I tend to hibernate during the darker months of the year, become more withdrawn and introspective.
As we start into the winter months, what changes do you go through? Unfortunately I become very depressed in the winter time.
What benefits or problems do you anticipate
As we start into the winter months, what changes do you go through? I like to do a basic household purge. I find myself cleaning out the corners, cabinets and storage spaces. I guess I feel that since we'll be spending so much time indoors, it ought to be organized and spacious. I just had an *almost* final harvest and have all my herbs drying in my kitchen. This upcoming weekend I will likely crush them and jar them. Also, I will harvest the last of the herbs in my gardens and rake everything out and lay down some compost to protect the Earth until Spring.
What benefits or problems do you anticipate within this more introspective time of the year? I have concerns about our oil use, but we just installed a wood burning stove and we have lots of firewood behind the shed. I am hoping that helps us save $$ on oil. I have concerns about the preparations for my oldest dd and college. I realize it will all go okay, but I tend to worry about deadlines and financial aid. The main benefit I foresee is that we're entering into a Holy period. It is a time of harvest, followed by a time of Rest. I just feel very respectful of the Earth's needs at this time.
How do you pamper yourself, {or would you like to be ;-D} for the 'female' half of the year? I tend to be more in tune to my body in the winter months. I'd *like* to take more baths, but it's always so cold in my bathroom!
What would you like to accomplish? I would like to make the committment to go back to school *for real* this time and stick with it. I've been very lazy about it.
Do you keep journals or diaries of wishes and dreams... perhaps to help manifest your creations in the Spring? I have a general journal - I jot down my thoughts or happenings. I will often advance in the journal and write down some dreams or hopes and then when I get up to the page I can see which ones came to be or not.
As we start into the winter months, what changes do you go through?
~~~I start to wear socks around the house and bundling up on the couch more!!
What benefits or problems do you anticipate
As we start into the winter months, what changes do you go through?
I tend to withdraw and get very introspective.
What benefits or problems do you anticipate within this more introspective time of the year?
The problem: getting depressed over all the "what ifs" and the "should haves" and missed opportunities in my life. The benefits: taking an honest look at myself--what I want and where I want to be going--and developing a plan to create the life I want.
How do you pamper yourself, {or would you like to be ;-D} for the 'female' half of the year? Winter to Spring is often considered 'feminine' in quality, as many forms of gestation take place!
I wish I had someone special to pamper me with backrubs, etc. :) but I'll just have to settle for long, warm baths, and buying myself some decadent, overpriced body creams! LOL
What would you like to accomplish?
I would like to spend time meditating this winter.
Do you keep journals or diaries of wishes and dreams... perhaps to help manifest your creations in the Spring?
I've only been keeping a personal journal for a little over a year now to record my thoughts and feelings. I've never written down any hopes and dreams. Maybe this winter would be a good time to start!
As we start into the winter months, what changes do you go through?
***During the winter months, I find that I meditate more often. Maybe its because the holidays, a time to share with family and friends. I know I try to bring a positive change for the coming new year.
What benefits or problems do you anticipate within this more introspective time of the year?
*** I try my hardest not to anticipate problems. I pride myself in optimism :)
How do you pamper yourself, {or would you like to be ;-D} for the 'female' half of the year? Winter to Spring is often considered 'feminine' in quality, as many forms of gestation take place!
*** The only *pamper me* time I have is my meditation.
What would you like to accomplish?
***Hmmmmm...to bring about acceptance to the world.
Do you keep journals or diaries of wishes and dreams... perhaps to help manifest your creations in the Spring?
*** I do. A dream journal & a prayer journal.
V :)
I tend to depression but do well on fish oil, so I will take enough fish oil to
be happy. I do stay indoors a lot, I dislike the cold and ice, I trust the universe
will send me a great guy even if I stay home a lot. Too bad the UPS guys are so young,
they really show up at your door.
Benefits: I don't know, an excuse to stay home??????? the sunrises and sets are great.
I read more, go to bed earlier. Have a dinner party, in summer I don't have air conditioning.
Pamper: I always pamper mtself. winter is bubble baths so I can feel toasty getting into
bed, helps me to sleep.
Accomplish: the usual, I am always trying to accomplish and not overdo.
Knit for my grandson, make more sweaters for him. I plan to put more money towards my
mortgage this winter.
Journals: I do journal and have since 13 years old. I periodically throw them out so when I die, my sons
won't freak out reading them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a Siberian down comforter, I am prepared.
