A day of rest . *m

It's Sunday, and it's an unusually sunny day.  I sent Nick to get a newspaper out of the machine, but he came back with half of it.  I threw on my shorts, leashed up Kovu, and off we went.  Oh, how beautiful it is outside .. an unexpected blessing in November.  We may have a harsh winter, as folks predict we will, but I happily take this one.

The leaves of gold and red and rust coasted the ground, nutrients to feed the ground for the coming winter.  Kovu had a time sniffing the ground.  Instead of our fast paced trot, we strolled, enjoying the time we had.  When we got to the stand, he jumped on the machine as I extracted the rest of my paper.

My hairy pup is snoozing at my feet.  My paper is waiting for me, and I enjoy a day of not being "productive."

Tell me about your "day of rest."  What's it like?  What day is it on?  Do you make a concious decision to have one, or is like mine, whenever it happens to come up?   Whose around?  What do you do?

Sunday is generally my day of rest as well, but not for religious reasons.

Sundays for me lately have been better I just stopped doing everything...I stay in jogging pants and a tee. I do a few loads of Laundry, Cook, and play games with my kids on PS2...lol. or watch movies I've already seen so I can nap. After the storm here for a while Sundays were crazy, Working 6 days a week, and everything shut down at 5 so I had to play catch up on Sundays. I had to move and ended up helping a few other people move..but our town is coming back you wouldnt believe how much is done already...

Honestly, I've no idea whether it's difficult to make the wine; I don't get involved in any way.
