We're all grateful for lots of things, but if you had to pick just one, what would it be?

Mine would be recovery from my abuse issues.

So far, I'd have to say that I am most grateful for my husband.

I am most grateful for having the strength and courage to find myself again/reclaim my freedom from an abusive relationship. I can't imagine how most partners have lived in an abusive relationship for 20 + years. Many people who haven't gone down this path think its so easy to just get up and leave but its extremely difficult to get untangled from this web. Its an accomplishment that i have been proud of because i didn't think i had the strength to do it.

I am grateful that I have had such wonderful opportunities in my life that have allowed me to grow, both emotionally and spiritually.

The thing I'm most grateful for is for my freedom. I have plenty of food on my table, and a nice place to live. I can contact my family any time I want although we live in different states. I know that we may have troubled leadership, but at least I don't have to worry about bombs hitting my house, nor do I have to worry about getting shot at when I go to the Market for something. I feel very fortuate sometimes comparing to others in different parts of the world or this country.

Happy Thanksgiving!

WOW...Most grateful for hu?

Besides the obvious...Family, Friends, Health...
I would have to say that I'm living in a time where people's eyes are being opened to the realities in this world. For SO many years, denile of our brothers and sisters in this world has kept many people from doing anything to help, not because they didn't want to, but because there was no idea of what needs there were to be met . Through recent world changes, we have all HAD to be faced with the stuggles of humankind from horrors and devistation that we never even knew existed or never thought would befall humankind.
We have all learned more about giving and compassion through these changes.
I am truly grateful for that.

I am grateful for the quiet, beautiful view in my kitchen.
