I'm coming out of over a month of a nasty bursitis attack in my hips, which made it too painful to spend any time sitting at the computer. :-\ I am feeling a bit behind and overwhelmed, just to get the house ready for the holidays. I do "simple" but there are still basics I want to get done: house cleaning, decorating, putting up the tree, shipping gifts, getting cards sent out, etc. We're not "Martha Stewart" types, by any means. I just feel frustrated to have lost the prep time that enables me not to feel stressed about any of it. <:=O Not to mention a dog whose going stir crazy from no walks, right along with me!
Now that I am feeling better, I am getting excited about Yule/Solstice on the 21st and celebrating Christmas with some extended family in attendance. I know that if things aren't quite "done," no one will really care. The important thing is being together and enjoying good conversation, and good food, together. :D
