Just a suggestion, gang.

In the past, on the last day of the year, I always listed resolutions to "fix" or  myself.  This year, I will list the "dreams" or the way "I want to live" that's best for me.

Examples:

1. The ol' "I need to lose weight" thing may be  "I want to be healthier so I can enjoy my life fully".

2. "I need to go to church" can be "I desire to reach and connect with spirit".  Look and enjoy your own unique meditations.

3. "Others don't like me" can be "I can love and respect myself before others learn to do it."

4.  "The world is so cold, violent, and ugly" can be "there is still love here on earth if only I open myself to it."

*******

My hope to this board is to live your life fully, happily, and truly-madly-deeply.  Whatever you do on the turn of the New Year (going to midnight service, a party, or, as I do, wake up long enough to watch the ball drop in Times Square, keep everyone here in your thoughts and prayers.   May we all be strenghtened a little more in 2006!

*******

What is your resolution(s)?  What do you wish?  What do you look forward to?  Lurkers, old members, present board folks, let's hear it.

Blessings!!

"The world is so cold, violent, and ugly" can be "there is still love here on earth if only I open myself to it." -- I like this one!

I'm going to focus on seriously pursuing my dreams, big and small, lofty and silly. Life is more fulfilling when working toward dreams.

HAPPY 2006 EVERYONE!

hello & thank you. I'm starting anew this year with many recurring issues, depression, obesity, marital issues, parenting teenagers, finances, etc. etc. etc...
The difference this year is faith! I have renewed my commitment to Jesus and I am trying to approach these challenges with a new outlook. My main focus will be on making changes that bring me closer to God. I am recommitting to read my bible daily. Setting aside time each day for praise & prayer. I stumbled across this board and wanted to connect with others like myself.

I work on myself on a daily basis so I am not far behind on anything. That
is my nature. So, I am working on my few lbs I gained over the last few months.
I am feeling great finishing up the 8 day cleanse I started. I am proud that
I followed thru. I am working on my relationship with my middle son
and know that will be better. we are going out in Feb when his wife goes to vs her parents with their son in
Canada. I have the perfect things to say, to open healing, confirmed by my therapist. I am trying to always be more loving.
I am happy with my job and try to keep a good attitude there. This year I want to make sure I get out and do more.
I am putting more money towards my mortgage. I am consistent about working out, so I am on a good roll, oh, maybe i can manifest a great man. I am looking at my X boyfriend as a friend only, it is working. Going to be a good year. Love, Leila

You are so funny, Chunnakah ( spell?) has no cleanses. It has good
food, fun and games.
Look up blessed herbs and you will find the one I am ending.
I did it for getting rid of toxins and to loose a few pounds,
to break the cycle of my eating. The first 3 days you cut your
healthy foods down while taking capsules to determine your
number to make you have 3 BM's a day. you take those daily. There ia a chart for that.
Then you mix powder in organic apple jce 5X a day. You can have a strained veg soup.
The powder stuff has in it betonite clay etc. that can absorb 40 X's its weight in
toxins. It is very gentle, no diarrhea etc. There are many cleanses available.
I am proud of myself for following it through. I never
felt tired or hungry, my skin was softer, felt better giving up wine with dinner ( unwanted sugar)
Today i am easing into eating. Organic apple, steamed veggies and brown rice for lunch.
Scollops for dinner. yahoo. Love, leila
