Changing faith, changing religion?

Just wondering...........
How many of you are still practicing the same religion you grew up with? Or, if raised in a family that didn't practice any religion, are you still non-practicing, or have you gravitated towards one? If a change, why?
It recently occurred to me that most of my friends grew up in one religion and are now practicing another or not any at all.
Myself, I was raised an Episcopalian (geesh, hope I spelled that right) but now am following more of a new-thought path, I like the four agreements, Course in Miraclese, etc; and go to a Unity church sometimes. I changed because I felt something missing, and started exploring, and liked what I found.
How about others here? :-)

Hey Leila!! Let's see, I've changed jobs twice since I last saw you so I'm not in Concord much at all anymore. With Dh back in school and driving to Hudson everyday for work, transporting my oldest ds to work in Concord and making up the time and then there's His Shortness who is just 8 to keep happy - not a whole lot of time left to go around for Mom's R&R. I'm lucky to get into Town every other week, and then it's because we do have to eat!
However, we can get together if I schedule it far enough in advance but it needs to be on a Saturday or Sunday. I miss spontenaity so much!
{{{{Susan}}}}!! New Hampster is changing ever so slowly. We have lots more people than we used to, yet some things never change - like propety taxes, Beautemous falls - cold winters (although this one hasn't been very bad at all! Whoo-Hoo!) black flies and Skeeters to carry you away into the swamps....Ahh, I digress...
I had also wondered about your Grandfather - I hope his passing was peaceful for all around him.
There will not be another OM - although some tried to make it happen - they wanted to use some substance and recreate him on the mountain side - but folks objected. Instead, they're doing a monument in the base park to him. Those telescopes you put money in to look at the OM now have his profile on the lens so you could see him even though he's not there - at least that's what I think I read.
Last I heard, Karen moved to Miami or there about a year or so ago.
There's been so many changes here most of 'em good though!
Great to See ya, Susan!!
Lots of love and hugs, Bren
Thanks Gimger!!! MUUUWAH!
Now onward to answering many of the topics I haven't had a chance to get to!!
I live 20 minutes west of Concord and because dh is back in school, I would probably have my 8yo son with me and it couldn't be before noon. This is my weekend to shop. (Thank you Creator for payweeks!)
I've always wanted to eat at that place you're talking about, but it's seems so far. and I'm really stuggling with time restraints from so many directions. Oh how I miss living on Indian time! ~*^*~sigh~*^*~
I thought this board was the replacement for OSJ, or Spiritual Paths. No matter, those days were fun. I miss some of the folks who used to frequent there. Amazed to learn that Karen moved to Miami!!! (sunshine belongs in the sunshine state) ;o)
xxoox
