Fear is a natural part of being human.  It might be something physical, emotional or spiritual, but unless you have transcended the mortal body, you are probably afraid of something.  What is it?

I am afraid of dark water, especially moving or deep water.  And I am afraid of heights, but I love to fly.  I've tried to meditate myself out of these fears, but nothing has worked, so I simply try to avoid them.  I'm not crazy about boating and I gave up swimming a long time ago!

I used to be afraid of speaking out in public, but now I really enjoy it, and I'm much better at accepting the existence of garden snakes in my yard!

Yikes, a mouse jumped out at you, whew! I would have freaked and I am a hamster lover. My old landlord did remodeling in his apt. and when he did that I had some little visitors, they freaked me out. No one could understand that since I have a hamster but that is my pet not a rodent that I don’t know where or who he is! LOL…but I still couldn’t kill him so I captured him and released him and two of his friends then moved out of the apt!!! No more problems! And I am away from a bad landlord who thought he was a good landlord!

The thing about the mouse we had no idea it was in the house. And it was in the kitchen, and my Mom always keeps it so clean so when it jumped out it was totally unexpected. Being that we hadn't ever had one in the house before for the split second before it jumped on me I thought "what the heck is that". Yep still afraid of mice.

I know life has it's ups an downs and that we learn more from the downs. Loss can be some of the most difficult things to deal with, I'm sorry you've lost more than one person close to you. In the last few years I've lost close ones too. I miss them but realized there journey is done and a new one has started. For me, being with out them, and for them on their afterlife. I also believe it is only a temporary loss and we will be reunited.

Hugs and Blessings.

I am afraid of the dark and becoming a ghost, when I die. The second is unlikely, since I have regular conversations with Jesus and Anubis.
