Fear is a natural part of being human.  It might be something physical, emotional or spiritual, but unless you have transcended the mortal body, you are probably afraid of something.  What is it?

I am afraid of dark water, especially moving or deep water.  And I am afraid of heights, but I love to fly.  I've tried to meditate myself out of these fears, but nothing has worked, so I simply try to avoid them.  I'm not crazy about boating and I gave up swimming a long time ago!

I used to be afraid of speaking out in public, but now I really enjoy it, and I'm much better at accepting the existence of garden snakes in my yard!

I am completely freaked out by ants.

Yes, those little black things and sometimes slightly bigger ones (carpenter).

If you wanna hear me scream like a little girl (very uncharacteristic for me!!), get me near some ants. *shudder*

I'm afraid of large, empty spaces....and always get nervous if there aren't a lot of people around.

Hi, Bink! Great Q! Kool name you have!

I'm afraid of snakes.....even though garter snakes won't hurt you, however, I've heard that should one ever bite, that it is very painful! I had a live, wriggly, cold snake slipped down the back of my dress when I was about 12 years old and I'll never forget the awful experience, nor fogive the boy who pulled the prank. Cuz now I'm afraid

I've heard that people in general are more afraid of public speaking than they are of death!

Once I got comfortable leading groups at work, I lost the fear. Love , Leila

Oh beloved Jodi.

I am not sure if this one counts but I will explain it anyhow.

I would be afraid of meeting someone so beautiful as yourself. I would end up all fingers and thumbs and a stuttering wreck in

Oz.

I have the weirdest fears. I'm afraid of old furniture with peeling paint or old wicker ... total phobia ... and talking or moving scarecrows, that guy on Bob the Builder totally freaks me out. I must have been traumatized by a old wicker, paint peeling scarecrow when I was little! I'm uncomfortable around the furniture but the scarecrow thing ... that makes me physically ill.
