That's a great book. Terry Pratchett is hilarious! I've only read about seven or eight of his books, but he's probably one of my top favorite authors. Enjoy your reading!

Hi, all! ;)

I am reading a couple of books concurrently. I am re-reading "THe Da Vinci Code" for the third time. Just love it! ;)) I won't be seeing the movie when it hits theaters because I need closed captioning due to my hearing loss. Hopefully the DVD will be released quickly for rental, but I won't hold my breath, LOL! It will have a longggg run in theater, I think. :P

I am also reading a dog behavior book by April Frost. She is very "New Agey" in that she uses flower essences, works with visualization with her dogs, and mental connections and energy sendings. Very interesting book. :) Some of it is a bit "out there" in terms of my experience, but is just more for me to learn about, I figure, LOL!

Lately I have been spending my time with "all things dog, " with my Mika and our training work. I am learning so much and we are progressing as a team! A favorite magazine, "The Bark" has the logo, "Dog is my Co-Pilot." I like that. Especially when her head pops up in the rear view mirror when we're heading to a favorite hiking spot. :D

I will be very interested in reading this book by April Frost.

I am currently reading Caesar's Way by Caesar Milan - The Dog Whisperer. His messages most important to my life are "Live in the moment" and "Move forward". The other is the recognition of what the most basic of my dogs needs are and to be more in tune with them. Of course I love to watch his show. I am a dog lover fur sure.

I just recently finished Cesar's book. Very good layout of his methods and philosophy. I also bought his DVD, "People Training for Dogs," which was very informative, also. I am tempted to buy his Season 1 DVD set, but will have to wait a bit for that one, it's expensive! :P

Another dog behaviorist that I truly love, is Suzanne Clothier, "BONES WOULD RAIN FROM THE SKY: Deepening Our Relationships With Dogs." She is awesome! I've read her book twice so far. http://www.flyingdogpress.com/

"Living in the now." A spiritual lesson taught to us by our dogs. ;))

Hugs,
Gypsy

At the moment I'm reading for fun. I love "The Phantom of the Opera", and I've been reading some "Phanfics" for a couple days at Fan Fiction and Aria (a fic site dedicated to POTO). Some are great, some are so-so, but some aren't very good at all.

I just finished Witch Star by James Clemens, I enjoyed the series and this was the last book. I am now reading The Shining City by Kate Forsyth. Her Witches of Eilean series was great! This series is a little slow right now.

I'm reading a book now, one that I haven't read in a long time. I had loaned "The Mists of Avalon" to a friend and just got it back this weekend. I'm re-reading it after about four years. I can't believe how much I'd forgotten! I'm more than halfway through now, and I started reading it early Monday morning.
