West Michiganders were greeted by MASSIVE thunderstorms (donderboomers, as the Dutch would say) and balmy high 50's today. I was blessed to see a huge lightning strike that glowed for about 2 seconds. DS was behind me in his car, so we both were awed at the same time! Glad I wasn't on the receiving end of that jolt!
We are absolutely saturated. The rivers are very high, but the Great Lakes are still below normal. Not sure how that works...
Spring cannot hide forever! It has to be just around the next weekend!

Hope you get some beautiful spring weather soon! You can send some of that wet rain stuff over here to CA. (Not the lightening strikes, though! We've already had some fires!) We haven't had nearly our winter allotment. I'll send ya some of our spring weather for some rain out our way, o.k.? :D
I attended a lovely Ostara/Spring Equinox ritual with my Pagan Circle from the UU church. We honored the Four Elements, and we did an unbinding working for something we wish to unbind ourselves from in our lives. First our ritual leader took yarn and loosely tied our wrists together. Then the other ritual leader came and ask us to give voice either in our hearts or out loud, the Element that could help us with the unbinding. Then we broke apart our wrists, the yarn falling away, as symbolic of freeing ourselves of this blockage in our lives. It was very meaningful. After that we either wrote or drew about our blockage and our ideas for breaking through. I rolled up my drawing, tying it with my yarn piece, and placed it on my altar when I came home.
Blessed Spring of new growth, positive and healing energy, and renewal for all of us! :))
