I would have to choose "Other" because I don't think that *any* place we choose to pray is really "unusual." :D For me, my connecton with my Goddess and God is very fluid and flexible. I have "discussions" or prayers wherever I may be, and feel the need to connect. Sometimes it's just to say a big THANK YOU for getting through the green light. Sometimes it's seeing a gorgeous tree in bloom. Sometimes it's the laughter in my Mika dog's eyes. Sometimes it's asking for protection and guidance and stamina. Whatever is going on in my day, I include my Goddess and God.

I would say that in the woods on nature trails, and in the water are times I feel most connected and feel the desire to pray. Not the most usual for sure, but for some reason it always happens that way!

My answer would have to be "all of the above"!

I pray in the shower, in my car while driving, and quite a bit at work. Since i work in the operating room i pray during surgery for all my patients. I also pray for the surgeons, anesthesiologists and others involved with the surgery.

All of the above. I pray two or three times a day sometimes. I think the most peaceful place I've prayed lately was last night, lying next to my boyfriend with my head on his chest. I listened to his heart beat and prayed that I would be and could be what he deserves, and that our relationship continues to strengthen. It only seemed right that I was listening to his heart beat while I was speaking what was in mine for him. I did a lot of praying while I was driving through New York City for the first time recently. :o)

I think it's unusual to think anyplace would be unusual. But then again, I'm probably unusual, usually anyway. :D

I pray anywhere anytime the mood strikes me and the mood strikes me often.

ITA! This poll was from Beliefnet's website, so it was their terminology about "unsual." I, too, think that my Goddess and God are everywhere I am, since they are a part of me, and I, a part of Them. ;)) I connect with them in a stream of consciousness kind of way throughout my waking hours, too. I just "tune in." :D

More and more I find myself praying while driving.
