Starting to help myself in a better way

Basically I just say stuff silently to myself. Like it okay, stop thinking like this, and etc. Is it good to just talk to you self or do other things as well? Thank you.

I think it's great! In fact, it's called "positive self talk" and is very helpful in working through depression, anxiety, phobias and other mental health issues. Sometimes it takes the form of affirmations....things we repeat to ourselves several times a day that we want to come to believe. Like "I am enough" or "I handle any challenge that comes my way."
