Rejection letter

I got the letter from my first choice graduate school, and I got rejected. I applied to another school, and I'm pretty sure that I will get into that one, but I'm still really disappointed. Sometimes I feel like I have absolutely no control over my life. I mean, I know that I do, but I'm just in a really rough spot right now. Ugh, I don't know what to do. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

I'm really sorry about that! Don't feel bad though. I had two friends who graduated from grad school. Both were awesome students, with great grades, involved in impressive activities, with work experience, etc. So I was shocked when I found out that these amazing people got rejected to most of the grad schools they applied to. It is just so competitive. After seeing that no one should feel bad for getting rejected from grad school. These girls seemed perfect to me, with everything and glowing recommendations. And even they got lots of rejections before getting accepted.

So sorry to hear of the rejection letter. I hope that the second school accepts your application. Who knows, maybe that's where you're meant to be. I wish you all the best.

Hugs,

Amanda
