Hey All,
Just thought I'd try to rustle up some energy around here--lol! So....here's a roll call and a few questions for ya!
1. Who are you and where (screen name and general location is fine!)
2. How are you feeling in this moment?
3. What is the best job you've ever had?
4. What is the worst job you've ever done?
5. Share a proud moment you've had!
Okay, here's my answers....
1. I'm Lori (cl-onceachild) and I live in Maine
2. I'm feeling pretty good right now...anticipating a trip to Canada!
3. The best job I've ever had so far has been working at a respite care home for a mental health agency. We provided an alternative to hospitalization...folks with situational crises or a major mental illness seeking to avoid hospitalization were referred by our crisis workers to our unit. It was small...we only took a few clients at a time in our unit. It was set up just like a regular home....bedrooms, kitchen, living room, bath, etc.
4. My worst job was at a shoe store! Why? Well, let's just say not EVERYONE thinks to make sure their feet are clean and they aren't either barefoot or wearing filthy, smelly socks! Yuck! I didn't stay there long--lol!
5. One of my proudest moments was graduating from college w/honors with my degrees in Mental Health!
That's all for now. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Hugs, Lori

1. Who are you and where?
Blue Rains, MA
2. How are you feeling in this moment?
Hungry- I'm going to Burger King or McDonald's soon.
3. What is the best job you've ever had?
Working as a library tech for the government.
4. What is the worst job you've ever done?
Salvation Army store- no air conditioning in the summer, minimum wage, it was so hot, and tiring work.
5. Share a proud moment you've had!
DH and I saved a snapping turtle that was walking into the highway. He got seperated from his pond, he came through the fence and couldn't get back. I got so scared when I saw him walking to his doom! I told DH to stop the car, and we lifted him over the fence and I only hope that he found his pond again and was safe and happy. I wanted to bring him all the way to the pond but it was dangerous to leave the car parked on the side of the highway for that long, so we did our best.
